Project Management Approach
MindIT exercises a strong matrix project management whereby each project has its assigned project manager who reports to the Project Management Office.
The phases of project management include:
Project Conception and Initiation
During this phase, a decision making team will identify if the project can realistically be completed and whether it is appropriate and beneficial for the client.
Project Launch or Execution
Resources’ tasks are distributed and teams are informed of responsibilities, whereby crucial project related information will be addressed.
Project Closure
Once project tasks are completed, an evaluation is conducted to highlight project success and/or acquire knowledge from the project outcome.
Project Definition and Planning
A project plan, project charter and/or project scope may be put in writing, outlining the work to be performed. During this phase, the MindIT team will prioritize the project, calculate a budget and schedule, and determine what resources are needed.
Project Performance and Control
The process of the project will be attended to with diligence in which, the project manager may need to employ strategic measures for the completion and success of the project.
